HIVE was founded by Silvana Massolo and Rhys O'Connell — two people who led one of Miami's most prominent chambers of commerce and walked away asking a simple question:

What would this look like if we built it exactly the way it should be?

The answer is HIVE.

Not a chamber. Not a club. A community — curated, intentional, and built from the ground up by people who understand what real professional relationships actually look like. HIVE is headquartered in Miami and built for the kind of city Miami has become: ambitious, global, and full of people who take their work seriously.

SILVANA MASSOLO

CEO & CO-FOUNDER

Silvana Massolo is an award-winning marketing strategist and Co-Founder and CMO of Revolve Group, a Miami-based brand strategy and marketing advisory firm. With over two decades of experience leading campaigns for Fortune 500 companies — including McDonald's, Kia Motors, PNC Bank, and State Farm — she is known for translating strategy into measurable, lasting growth.

A 2026 inductee into the Florida International University School of Communication Alumni Hall of Fame, Silvana also served as Executive Director of the Coconut Grove Chamber of Commerce, where her belief in the power of curated relationships led her to co-found HIVE.

At HIVE, Silvana leads vision, membership strategy, and brand. She reviews every application personally — because who belongs here matters.

Rhys O'Connell is a connector, operator, and community builder with years of experience in professional associations and business leadership. His time at the Coconut Grove Chamber of Commerce gave him a rare vantage point — close enough to understand what members actually need from a community, and experienced enough to know what gets in the way.

At HIVE, Rhys leads operations, member relationships, and partnerships. He is the person who makes sure every event runs well, every member feels known, and every commitment HIVE makes gets delivered.

Membership fees support the cost of running high-quality events, maintaining the member network, and building the experiences and infrastructure that make HIVE what it is.
