Member Spotlight: Raquel Kaufler, Founder of MŪZ

Raquel Kaufler, Founder of MŪZ

Ask Raquel Kaufler what inspires her most, and she won't talk about a five-year plan or a market opportunity. She'll talk about the art of living with intention — the small, deliberate moments that make up a day, and a life.

It's a philosophy she's earned. A former finance executive, Raquel built her career on numbers and certainty. Then a stage IV kidney cancer diagnosis rewrote the terms entirely. What began as a search for anything that might help her body heal became MŪZ — MY MIND MŪZ MY HEALTH®, a luxury wellness tea brand built on the belief that healing often starts in the smallest rituals we create for ourselves.

That belief shows up in everything MŪZ makes. Small-batch, ethically-sourced blends — Digestivo Blu, Elastin Bloom, You Look Gorgeous — each one designed around a feeling, not just a flavor. It's wellness without the wellness-industry noise: no trends, no gimmicks, just a cup of tea and a moment to actually take.

Raquel is candid that this isn't a hypothetical for her. She's a long-term survivor still navigating metastatic Stage IV Renal Cell Carcinoma, and she's chosen to make that fight part of her public work rather than something private. She partners with physicians and researchers at Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center on patient education and health symposiums, and serves as Co-Chair of the American Cancer Society's Inner Circle of 12 Luncheon in Miami — bringing together the people and resources behind cancer research and patient care.

"Life isn't measured by the years we accumulate," she says, "but by the moments that awaken us." It's the kind of line that could sound like a platitude from someone who hadn't lived it. From Raquel, it lands as fact.

What ties it all together — the business, the advocacy, the daily rituals — is Raquel's belief that meaningful things rarely announce themselves. They start quietly. A cup of tea. A conversation. A decision to slow down. She's endlessly curious about people, and it shows: some of her best partnerships and friendships have started the exact same way most good things do — someone simply asking a real question.

It's fitting company for a room built on the same idea.
